PRIOR TO DEPARTURE
PAYMENT
A deposit of 10% of the total cost of your booking is required to confirm your booking. This payment should, therefore, be made as soon after your booking request as possible in order to confirm your booking. The deposit is non-refundable. Although we endeavour to accommodate all booking requests, you may lose your booking any time before your deposit is received.
Final payment for the full cost of your booking minus any deposit paid previously is required two weeks prior to departure. Your booking is liable to cancellation if we fail to receive full payment for your holiday according to these terms. Once full payment has been received, we will post you the keys. Please ensure you post these back as soon as you return to the UK.
Please make cheques payable to Mrs D. Sutton. Electronic transfers are also welcome. Please contact us here for the necessary bank details. Unfortunately we cannot accept card payments.
FACILITIES
Kitchen:
Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, two fridge/freezers, electric oven, gas and electric hob, toaster, kettle, juicer, iron, ironing board, utensils, pots & pans, crockery & cutlery, basic 'larder' provisions, glasses.
Lounge/dining room:
Six seater dining room table and chairs, two double sofas, one double sofa-bed, TV, Sky Digital box, library bookcase, telephone for local calls, and open log fire place. You will also find a welcome booklet here, detailing some information about Casa Bonita and its equipment, emergency contact details, and detailing information on the surrounding area. Cards from local restaurants with comments are also left by visitors in a 'phone book' by the telephone.
Bedrooms:
One double bedroom and two twin single rooms, all with extensive wardrobe space and hangers supplied. Each bedroom is en-suite, two with bath, shower, toilet, bidet, sink and storage, and one with shower stall, toilet and sink, all with heated towel rails. Towels and bedding are provided. Extra bedding can be found in each bedroom.
Outdoors:
Gated driveway with grass area and carport. Garden leading from lounge with veranda containing four chairs and a table, grass area and upstairs roof terrace. Garden leading from kitchen with swimming pool, six loungers, two drinks tables, eight chairs and two tables, washing line and BBQ. A swimming pool cover is provided if you have requested the pool to be heated. Garden along the side of the villa with grass area.
Service:
A maid service is provided every working weekday. Louisa will clean the villa, make the beds, change any towels left on the floor, and clean the villa generally. During your stay, our pool managment service may come and clean the swimming pool. Our gardener will also visit most days to undertake general maintenence. Please note that the garden is equipped with an automatic watering system, so it is advisable to keep outdoor areas clear of items which may perish if made wet during overnight watering. Vale do Lobo collects rubbish every night, and bins should be left on the roadside for this purpose.
